Today, Dredawa Management Education Office held a discussion forum with representatives of the Parent Student Teacher Union (WTEMEH) to strengthen the work of the union in order to achieve good results in the 2016 academic year.

 

Mr. Sultan Ali, who started the forum by attending the discussion, conveyed his welcome message and thanked the parents who came to the discussion to make the school year 2016 successful.

 

Ato Sultan said that cooperation of all stakeholders is needed to record better performance and results in the current school year. Thus, in order to identify the obstacles that are currently widely seen in the education sector and prevent the drop in results observed in the 8th and 12th classes and tackle the problem from the root, everyone should work together and for this reason, the role of the parent student teacher union is important.

 

He said that the main objective of today's forum is to discuss with the parent student teacher association to bring about change in the education sector in 2016.

 

In the forum, in connection with the organization of parents, an article entitled "What is the function and responsibility of the parent teacher association" was presented and discussed extensively.

 

The participants of the discussion said that such discussion forums should be strengthened in order to solve the problems that have been widely observed in the education sector and promised to fulfill the responsibilities given to them in the future.

 

The parent teacher association should also prepare rules to show the violations, there is a need to provide continuous tutoring for 8th and 12th grade students and action should be taken against teachers who are not doing their jobs properly and similar ideas have been widely raised from the platform.
