The Deputy Mayor attended the Kirkos sub-city and celebrated the Irecha festival with a panel discussion.

The Deputy Mayor said, "When the festival is celebrated in such a bright manner, the power that shines does not disappear, so we should protect our peace together and celebrate our common values together."

They also conveyed their message to the youth by saying, "Don't give a chance to your peers who are wasting your life while doing a little bigger agenda."

Dr. Brock Keder, Chief Executive Officer of Kirkos Sub-city, said that all our festivals are the common wealth of Ethiopians and that when we celebrate the Irecha festival, it should be in a common spirit.

Irecha is a value of peace and fraternity that is growing from time to time and is becoming ours, Dr. Brook said in his speech.

Various sections of the society who participated in the festival said that since Erecha is a celebration of unity and solidarity of Ethiopians, we should protect it as our own.

The panelists said that we will not give a chance to forces that try to spoil the peace of the festival.
