New tradition discussion was held
In Addis Ababa, a discussion on the new tradition was held under the title "Shaping the Generation of Addition", which is the basis of the book Addis Ababa.
It is known that the New Tradition Dialogue organized by the Prime Minister's Office has held discussions on various issues in the past.
Today, a discussion was held at Friendship Square on the topic of "shaping the inclusive generation".
Education Minister Berhanu Nega (Professor) proposed the starting point for the discussion and asked in his writing, "If there is a generation with what kind of character, the country can go where it wants?"
He pointed out that such close communication is also important.
He mentioned that there is a need for a society that loves the country and this should not be driven by emotions but should be able to think for the society.
He emphasized that it is the responsibility of all to create a peaceful generation by creating a need for knowledge, developing skills and teaching how to live together.
Panos Hazendrias (Professor) said that our education system focuses on developing human skills and indigenous knowledge so that students can be themselves by bringing out their inner skills.
It was also raised in the discussion that in the movement to shape the new generation of integration, we should focus on the family and school institutions by understanding the current context of our country and treating the current generation's shortcomings.
In order to form an inclusive generation, improving the school system, improving the capacity and behavior of teachers, raising the reading culture of the generation, and eradicating the feeling of being married should be done from the family, the participants of the discussion said.
Invited scholars, media professionals and students attended the discussion on creating an inclusive generation.
