Ato Mamo Mehretu discussed with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US Ministry of Finance

The Governor of the National Bank of Ethiopia, Mamo Mehretu, had a discussion with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US Department of the Treasury, Eric Meyer.

 

It was pointed out that the discussion focused on the recent implementation of macroeconomic reforms as well as the monetary and financial sector reforms being carried out by the National Bank. 

 

In addition, the information obtained from the bank indicates that they advised on ways to strengthen the existing bilateral trade and investment relations between the two countries.
