It is said that the new technology that absorbs carbon dioxide from the air is achieving promising results
Although the world has not been able to control and reduce carbon emissions, recently various companies are working on creating new technologies to eliminate carbon dioxide.
A Swiss company called Climwerk has been involved in this regard and for the past 10 years has been producing machines that can filter carbon dioxide from the air and collect molecules.
The company has begun providing guaranteed carbon removal services to large international organizations such as Microsoft and Spotify, the BBC reported.
One of the company's machines, installed in Iceland, absorbs carbon dioxide from the air and stores it under the sea.
In the effort to reduce carbon emissions, the main challenge is that it requires a lot of financial capacity, but the new technology is said to be able to achieve high results at low cost.
This technology is implemented in water and can capture carbon using chemicals such as adhesives.
It is also stated that it collects 3 times better amount of carbon than previously purchased machines at high cost.
In the past, the carbon collected from the air was buried in land and sea, but the new technology is said to be able to mix carbon with other chemicals and turn it into soda carbonate, allowing it to be easily stored in the sea.
