Mayor Adanech said that we have not only hope but also faith in the National Consultation Commission and said there is no reason why the people of Ethiopia cannot come to understanding and unity if they discuss it in a genuine way.

 

The Chief Commissioner of the Consultative Commission, Prof. Mesfen Araya, stated that the Consultative Commission was established by a decree, which is separate from the Peace Commission, and that agendas are mainly taken from the society and brought to a consensus by facilitating discussion.

 

The commission's deputy commissioner, Mrs. Hirut Gebre-Salase, said the information we received from the mayor's office indicates that the national consultation will resolve the misunderstandings and erosion of values ​​that have been going on for centuries.
