Midrok Investment Group announced that it is in the process of restarting Sheger bread production
Addis Ababa, Midroc Investment Group has announced that it is in the process of restarting Sheger bread production.
It has been two months since the company, which produces 1 million loaves of bread per day, stopped distributing its products in the capital.
Saeed Muhammad, Head of Communications of Midrok Investment Group, said that the reason for the halt in the production of Sheger bread is related to the supply of wheat and that they are talking to the government and private suppliers to solve the problem.
The users, on their part, expressed their complaints to Fana Broadcasting Corporation regarding the increase in the price of Sheger bread and the decrease in grams.
Mr. Saeed explained that since the bread machine produces 80 grams, weight fluctuations cannot occur.
As there was a gap in the supply of wheat before the production was stopped, the wheat suppliers stated that they are in the process of resuming the bread production by issuing a tender.
Especially low-income users of the product have submitted their request for the resumption of the interrupted supply.
