The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia started implementing the new branch operating model in Addis Ababa and Finfine branches.

 

It has been pointed out that the new operating model used by the two branches of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia on the basis of the organizational structure reform that is being implemented through the study of an international consulting firm is capable of providing customer-oriented services.

 

Abe Sano, president of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, and the bank's executive members launched the new branch operating model in Addis Ababa and Finfine branches.

 

Ermias Getachew, director of retail and interest-free banking services transformation in Ethiopian Commercial Bank, said that the new operating model of the branches will enable customers to get appropriate services in a time-saving manner.

 

Mr. Ermias said that in addition to Addis Ababa and Finfine branches, the trial implementation of the new operating model will soon begin in eight other branches, and after three months, all the bank's branches will implement the system.

 

The director recalled that the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia has carried out institutional structural reforms through a study with the help of an international consulting firm.
