In Gulele sub-city, the fence wall of Kiqiene's permanent shelter collapsed and 2 people lost their lives

2 people died when a wall collapsed in Gulele sub-city district 4 near the fence wall of Kiqiene permanent accommodation in a place commonly known as Gog Thara.

 

Inspector Tesfaye Eshetu, Head of Crime Investigation Coordination of the District Keqiene Police Station, said that 4 other people who were injured in the accident were taken to Abet Hospital and Menan Health Center.

 

It has been stated that sheep and goats, the number of which is not yet known, were killed in the collapse accident in the area.

 

It was also mentioned that emergency workers are helping people injured in the accident and doing rescue work.
