Employees of the Ministry of Health and responsible institutions shared a meal with the Macedonian Center for the Elderly and the Mentally Ill on the occasion of Christmas.

On the occasion of Christmas, it was stated that the sharing of food was done with the hospitals of Tetri Keimat and Addis Ababa at a cost of 1.2 million birr.

 

Health Minister Dr. Lia Tadese stated that in addition to the sharing of food, mattresses, hygiene products, medicine and other support were provided.

 

He reminded that in the past, medicines, ambulances and other support had been provided to Macedonia, and confirmed that further support would be provided.

 

ESA reported that they will support the completion of the building that is being built for housing and medical services for the elderly.

 

Honorary Dr. Binyam Bele, the founder and manager of the Macedonian Center for the Elderly and the Mentally Ill, thanked the Ministry's staff for their support.

 

He stated that 7,500 elderly and mentally ill people are receiving services at the center. By coming to the center, by sending a short text message to 8161 and Go-Fundmi, they asked for all support and help.
