An institution that provides health services to young people was inaugurated and opened today at the Health Center of Ward 06 in Lafto District.

 

At the ceremony, Lafto sub-district chief executive Birhanu Abera and other health professionals attended the ceremony.

 

As stated during the inauguration, it is said that it will help to benefit the youth through youth fertility, HIV testing and counseling services and psychology.

 

Chief executive of the district, Mr. Birhanu Abera, said that the comprehensive health service provided to the youth has a significant role in creating productive and healthy citizens.

 

The CEO added that administrative support and monitoring will be provided to the health center.

In related news, the chief executive of the district, Ato Birhanu Abera, went around and observed the condition of the health center's service delivery.

 

The head of the health office, Mrs. Karsnesh Degu, said that preliminary preparations have been completed to provide paper-free service (E-Service) in health facilities.

 

The head added that it is appropriate to serve young people, who make up 34% of the country's population, and thanked the institutions and individuals who contributed to the expansion of health services for the youth.
