Based on the suggestions regarding service delivery, 221 managers and employees were investigated and various administrative measures were taken against 120 of them. He pointed out that the remaining 101 are being examined by the institution's disciplinary committee.

Among the malpractice profiles identified based on suggestions received from customers; Illegal meter installation, asking for bribes, exaggerating customers, delaying work for no reason, forcing customers to pay money for emergency repairs, accepting payment for meter installation without receipt, and other such corrupt practices, the director explained.

In general, in the fiscal year, various administrative measures have been taken against a total of 1,500 managers and employees who did not comply with the internal procedures set by the institution and committed ethical violations, including suggestions from customers.

The director stated that the administrative action was taken in accordance with the institution's union agreement and management regulations; The information we received from the Ethiopian Electricity Service indicated that they have been told that they have been fined, removed from positions of responsibility, and up to the point of dismissal.

The director pointed out that 27 verbal warnings, 356 written warnings, 568 salary/monetary penalties, 24 dismissals and 75 dismissals were taken.
