#Ethiopia Addis Ababa city administration launched 110 new lion buses at a cost of more than 16.5 million dollars on the occasion of service day.

Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abebe, who was present at the launch program, said that the 4th day of service was named as the Day of Servanthood to inspire all citizens to embrace the culture of servitude and bring about universal change.

In addition, he said that modern and accessible transportation services are necessary to ensure the social and economic development that is being recorded in our city.

The city administration also acknowledged that it is important to establish a streamlined and reliable transportation system. He said that since the day after the change, Mayor Adanech has been carrying out extensive works to facilitate the development and growth of our city in a comprehensive manner and to support low-income citizens with transportation.

According to the information obtained from the mayor's office, 250 new buses will be put into service in the next three months to support the transportation sector, Mayor Adanech added.

Federal Minister of Transport Dagmawit Moges said that the city administration is working to improve the service of the transport sector.
