Safaricom Ethiopia has started a customer network service trial

 

Safaricom Ethiopia announced today that it has started a series of customer network service trials in Dredawa city.

It has been noted that the customer test phase is a process in which the company tests its network and service quality in various regions and cities before it is ready to provide its services nationwide.

 

In Dredawa city, customer network testing will be conducted on 2G, 3G and 4G networks, and customers will be able to select their phone numbers and purchase SIM cards on the Safaricom Ethiopia line starting in 2007.

It is said that customers can get Safaricom Ethiopia SIM cards from the company's branded stores and shops and get a subscription package of data, voice and text messages to help them try out the network for a month.

 

It is suggested that when the subscription package expires, customers can purchase airtime from sales centers or branded stores and shops and recharge it and continue using the service.

According to the information we received from Safaricom Ethiopia, customers of Safaricom Ethiopia's test network, which will start service in Dredawa city, will be able to use data, exchange calls and text messages with Safaricom Ethiopia and Ethio Telecom customers, and make international calls.
