The 18th Ethiopian Marathon Relay was held in Afar Semera;

 

#Ethiopia The Ethiopian Athletics Federation held the 18th Ethiopian Marathon Relay in Afar Semera, a desert paradise, on November 11/2015 at 12:00 in the morning, a mixed relay race for both sexes and a 5 km public run.

 

The guests of honor of the day at the competition venue were Mr. State Ambassador Mesfen Chernat, Sports Sector of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Assistant Commissioner Derartu Tulu, President of the Ethiopian Athletics Federation, First Vice President Atlet Gehehegne Abera, Federation President Mrs. Ababa Yosef, Executive Committee members. Mrs. Fozia Idris, Mrs. Sarah Hasan, athlete Meshel Melkamu, commander athlete Markos Geneti, representative of the EAF office Mr. Yohannes Ghid and the head of the regional youth and sports office, Engineer Mohamed Humed, started the competition.

 

At the end of the competition, by team:

 

1st) Eromia Police At/Club Gold Medal and Cash Awardee,

 

2nd) When the Federal Prisons At/Club is awarded silver and medal,

 

3rd) Ethiopia Commercial Bank AT/Club was awarded with cash and bronze medals.

 

The presidents and office heads of the regional and city athletics federation jointly presented the award.

 

The overall winner's trophy was taken by the Oromia Police Athletics Club and was received by the guest of honor Ambassador Mesfen Cheranat, the Federation President Assistant Commissioner Derartu Tulu and members of the IAF Executive/Committee.
