A primary health care service improvement project with a cost of 22 million birr was announced

 

Addis Ababa, October 21: A primary healthcare service improvement project implemented in 8 regions at a cost of 22 million birr has been announced.

 

It is said that the project will be implemented in 44 districts within five years, which will be implemented by "Amrif Health Ethiopia and GSI" partner organizations.

 

Minister of Health, Dr. Lia Tadese, who was present at the project announced in Hawasa, said that the announcement of this project will help the health extension road map that was approved and put into operation a year ago.

 

Dr. Santayehu Tsagaye, Deputy Director General of Amrif Health Africa in Ethiopia, said that the implementation of the project will help the government to improve the health sector at the national level.

 

The information we received from the Ministry of Health indicates that the project will be implemented in pastoral and semi-pastoral areas and will focus on the health of mothers and children and strengthen the support of health institutions and society.
