The Speaker of the House of Representatives Tagese Topo stated that the coordination system should be strengthened to expand effective activities in the justice sector.

The Ministry of Justice discussed with the heads of federal and regional judicial institutions and the speakers of the regional councils on the judicial institutions transformation program to be implemented in the next three years.

As the Minister of Justice, Dr. Gideon Timotios said at the same time, the transformation program aims to fill the gaps in the justice sector and strengthen the good sides.

He stated that the transformation program has 10 different areas of focus that have been identified as enabling fundamental change in the justice sector.

For example, to refine the leaders of the sector; He pointed out that increasing the use of information communication technology and criminal administrative justice are in a new perspective.

He also said that there are measures to establish a better relationship with the regions, appropriate community participation and to make it more attractive and honest by adjusting the organization of the sector.

He pointed out that the preparation of the road map and the action plan for the proper implementation of the program have been completed.

The capacity building of judicial institutions and the assignment and transfer of leaders are also done.

The participants of the discussion stated that the work started to ensure administrative justice is important.

He pointed out that the program has a great potential to answer the problems in the sector as well as our questions.

They mentioned that the states should work with determination for its implementation and create awareness through various movement platforms.

On his part, Tesfaye Beljge, Minister of State in the House of Representatives, said that the government is committed to implementing this program.

He pointed out that the program is able to respond to frequent complaints and questions from the society and said that efforts should be made to implement it.
